Project Overview

One Liner: A full‑scale cloud simulation where Red and Blue teams battle across identity, network, and workload layers to measure real‑world detection, response, and mitigation.

Abstract

This project designs and implements a large-scale, cloud-based Red Team vs. Blue Team cybersecurity exercise that simulates a modern IT enterprise environment. The project includes segmented virtual networks, production-style workloads, identity and access management, centralized logging, and automated threat detection. Red Team will conduct structured attack methods targeting application vulnerabilities, identity misconfigurations, and data access paths, while Blue Team monitors, detects, and responds using cloud-native security services and incident response workflows. Through iterative sprints, the environment is built, exercised, and refined, producing measurable results including time-to-detect, time-to-contain, and post-incident remediation efforts. The result is a realistic, repeatable cybersecurity exercise that demonstrates practical security operations, cloud security engineering, and incident response capabilities.
