Project Overview

One Liner: TripScheme is a curated trip-planning application built for independent travelers.

Abstract

TripScheme is a curated trip-planning application built for independent travelers. Rather than forcing users to
research, evaluate, and manually enter individual sights and activities, TripScheme presents a pre-curated library
of the world's top experiences organised into six Kanban-style category lanes per city. Travelers drag activity
cards directly onto a visual day planner, with each card carrying a pre-set duration so the calendar fills accurately
on drop. Three 90-minute meal blocks — breakfast, lunch, and dinner — are automatically scaffolded into each
travel day, protecting rest and eating time without any manual input.
Completed day plans export seamlessly to Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Apple iCal / CalDAV,
meaning a traveler's hotel checkout, flight, and sightseeing all live in one unified calendar. The application is
available in English, French, Spanish, and German, making it immediately accessible to the majority of
independent international travelers without requiring translation of activity names or descriptions.
The core value proposition is speed and confidence: a traveler can plan a rich, balanced day in Paris — mixing a
world-class museum, a river cruise, a food market walk, and something genuinely offbeat — in under five minutes,
without opening a single browser tab. The events and sights are already curated. The traveler simply chooses,
drags, and goes.

I have a full deck I can email you (I being Prof. Salvage). I just didn't want to make it public facing.
