Vulnerability testing of government agencies.

Abstract:

We will be conducting a penetration test of the web applications and web-accessible hosts of the U.S Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA) and the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Description:

This project aims to assess the cybersecurity posture of the National Science Foundation and Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA) by conducting a comprehensive penetration test. This penetration test is in accordance with each agency's vulnerability disclosure program (VDP) on the Bugcrowd platform. The primary objective is to identify potential vulnerabilities within the agencies' network infrastructure, systems, and applications. The team will employ various penetration testing techniques, including network scanning, vulnerability assessment, and exploitation of known vulnerabilities. The findings of the penetration test will be documented in a detailed report, accompanied by recommendations for remediation to strengthen the cybersecurity defenses of each agency, improve the cybersecurity of the US Government, and safeguard Americans from adversaries.
