Abstract:

This project introduces a solution for creating and managing a personalized gift registry accessible from anywhere. At its core, the website allows users to curate a list of desired items by adding products from any online store, fostering a truly universal registry experience. An integral component of this system is a dedicated Chrome extension which is the focus of our project, enhancing user interaction with the platform. This extension enables logged-in users to browse the internet and add items to their registry with ease, directly from their browser and without the need to navigate back to the main website. This integration ensures an efficient, user-friendly experience, significantly simplifying the process of compiling a diverse and customized gift list. The project aims to redefine how users engage with gift registries, making it more accessible, versatile, and tailored to individual preferences.

While browsing various websites, users can utilize this extension to effortlessly add products to their registry. This addition is instantly synchronized with their account, ensuring that all selected items are readily accessible when you return to the main website, streamlining the process of creating a personalized gift list.
