Eagle VDI

This proof of concept demonstrates the migration of a traditional on-premises Citrix and VMware-based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) into the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, including the transition of core VDI services along with Active Directory (AD) and DNS to maintain authentication, policy enforcement, and name resolution in a cloud environment. The solution implements enterprise security controls using Active Directory security groups, AWS security groups, and file server permissions, with Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and scheduled patching ensuring consistent configuration and system integrity in a scalable cloud-based architecture.
