Project Overview

One Liner: An interactive phishing awareness training that simulates real-world threats.

Abstract

This project proposes the development of an interactive web-based in-service phishing training platform tailored for use within Drexel’s faculty members. The platform is designed to educate faculty employees on how to recognize and respond to phishing attacks without requiring prior cybersecurity knowledge. Rather than relying on passive instruction or isolated simulations, the system guides users through realistic phishing scenarios using clear instructional prompts, interactive decision making, and brief knowledge checks with immediate feedback. The training approach reflects real world in-service models commonly used in professional environments, emphasizing practical application and retention. Through accessible front-end design, intuitive navigation, and meaningful user interaction, the project aims to strengthen phishing awareness across Drexel while reinforcing essential cybersecurity concepts through structured interactive learning.
