Project Overview

One Liner: Exploring offensive security techniques by ethically hacking cloud-hosted EC2 instances of WireGuard VPN.

Abstract

Our project investigates penetration testing methodologies through the lens of attacking a secured WireGuard VPN hosted in AWS. By simulating real-world threat actor behavior and techniques, our team evaluates a number of offensive security approaches to uncover vulnerabilities in deployment, configuration, and access control. The goal is to provide a comprehensive assessment of attack surfaces and recommend hardening techniques for Wireguard and learn about penetration testing within this context in doing so.
