Our project aims to develop a testing suite comprised of a device simulator and code tracing utility for Pershing Technologies, an audiovisual design firm that specializes in creating custom solutions for complex environments. The device simulator will allow Pershing’s Crestron-based control code to be tested in a secure, pre-deployment environment without access to high-end, proprietary, and often confidential production equipment. Complementing this, the code tracer tool will analyze and validate individual code ”pillars,” enabling developers to independently debug and verify functionality before full system integration. Together, these tools will streamline development, enhance code reliability, and reduce on-site testing time.
